About A Perfect Circle
In 1999 guitar tech Billy Howerdel put together a number of musicians he had worked with in the past and formed A Perfect Circle, an alternative rock band. The musicians' commitments to their previous bands (Maynard James Keenan with Tool and James Iha with The Smashing Pumpkins) place the band on a hiatus, though with three records behind them, including the covers album eMOTIVe most recently, which came out around election time in 2004.
