A Tribe Called Quest was one of the leading rap groups that were to emerge in the 1990s. Debuting in 1989' the group released their first LP a year later. Their second album, The Low End Theory is known the world over as one of the greatest rap albums ever produced. A Tribe Called Quest became the forerunners of the Gangsta rap style we know today.
