About Arctic Monkeys
The Arctic Monkeys are a phenomenon typical of the current century. They themselves burned their own CD demos at first and spread them free at gigs. Fans then took on Arctic Monkeys CDs, ripped them and passed them on. Soon the band's songs found their way online, the MySpace page reached immense popularity, although the Monkeys insisted they had no part in this. The story of how the Internet helped them is already rock n' roll history.
