Her voice would come to represent the music of Motown and earn Aretha Franklin the titles The Queen Of Soul and Lady Soul. Michigan would even go all the way to declaring her voice a state natural resource. Her first recording being a gospel album when only 14, Sister Re would go on to sing soul, R&B; and even pop classics.
